Hi Guys
im working on an Android app i have different icons that i am displaying as an action depending on the screen the user is on (top right in action bar)
My issue is whenever i call invalidateOptionsMenu() then call onCreateOptionsMenu() to change the icon everytime for a split second i see the overflow icon (3 dots ) flash on screen
this happens everytime i change the action icon.
does anyone know how i can prevent this from happening .... its driving me nuts :)
i do not want to see the overflow icon at all as we do not wish to have an overflow menu. we only want our specific icons to be displayed .
