I am creating an application using latest titanium sdk. 3.1.2 with alloy. I wan't to create it for IOS , Android and blackberry(BB10).
The app will have multi-language support which will support 20 different languages.
multi-language data is stored on server database and when user changes his language settings user will get app for that language.
All the static text including labels, and navigation etc.. will come from server database.
on server we have translated all text with its max count limit . for e.g. for a 'Password' in french we are using 'mot de passe' with max limit 30 characters to make sure translated text should not be more that 30 character in order to prevent overlapping of word in our UI.
I am using unit 'dp' in my app and i think this will work for android and iphone.
Can it work for Blackberry also?
Please assist, i do not want to be stuck in this part later as this is a crucial part of my app.
