Upon running the xcode memory allocation instrument on my Alloy app, I noticed that the splash screen PNG is staying in memory while the app runs. Never seems to get removed from memory. Takes up about 2.5Mb, which is significant. Is this normal behavior or can/should it be removed from memory?
SDK 3.5.0GA, iOS 7/8, same on iOS simulator and devices. Nothing fancy for the launch image, just replaced the default Alloy launch images at /assets/iphone/Default@2x.png (or other appropriate image filename).
