If I am correct, hardware acceleratoin is enabled by default when you build your Android app, and you can turn it of in your tiapp.xml, by setting hardwareAccelerated="false".
We got some crashreports caused by lack of support of this hardware acceleration. The app crashes after the splashscreen. When I disable the hardware acceleration the app works correctly.
Google Play info:
Device: Xperia S (LT26i) Android version: 4.0.3 - 4.0.4
java.lang.StackOverflowError in android.view.HardwareRenderer.isAvailableComplete stacktrace: http://pastebin.com/i9yZsdXe
Question: how important is this hardware acceleration, and should I turn it on or off? Or, can I do somekind of check to detect if it's available or not?
