Parent view is displayed when Video is played

Hi , I am trying play a video using Titanium.Media.createVideoPlayer({}).

There is animation in the view . The view slides from the bottom to the top and when the video ends the view slides from the top to the bottom. And after the animation ends the video is being played. Sample: When the user presses open button : $.containerView.animate({ top:0%, duration :1000 }, function(){playVideo()}) . When the user presses closebutton : $.containerView.animate({ top:100%, duration :1000 }, function(){stopVideo()}) .

The animation is working properly as well as the video is also played properly.But just before the video is being played the parent controller , appears. I have tried by setting the background color of the container view. But the parent view appears just before the video starts playing. Any help regarding this issue.
