touchEnabled does not seem to work for TableViews on Android

Application type: Android mobile

SDK: 3.3.0

Platform: Android API 19

Device: Emulator

The task I am trying to achieve is simple: While opening a menu, I want to disable touchEvents on a (still visible) TableView, so that the user first has to close the menu, before he interacts with the TableView again.

On iOS setting the tv's touchEnabled property to false does it and the click event is not fired when trying to click the TableView. But on Android, setting the touchEnabled property doesn't seem to change anything.

I have found a JIRA ticket for this bug but it is said to have been fixed some time during 3.1.X?

Does anyone know, whether the error has come back in 3.2.0 or has experienced the same problem?
