Android ListView separatorColor in 3.3.0

In 3.2.3, with one item in a ListView, my view looked like this, with separators showing. Now in 3.3.0, my ListView looks like this, without separators showing.

I need to show the separators even if there is only one item. Is this possible in 3.3.0? I'm using the AppCompat.Light theme if that changes anything?
