No dashboard after installation

Hi, I installed Studio but it appears that the dashboard is not appearing after I open the advanced view and click the triangular icon. Instead I get a messagebox with this message....

An exception occured in the script. Error name: TypeError. Error description: Object doesn't support property or method. Error number: -2146827850

I have Java 6 SDK & Android SDK already installed.
