iOS Simulator slow to launch - 20 seconds of black screen

Hi,

This happens to me from time to time of different macs, titanium studio compiles my project in 11 seconds, then it says launching iOS Simulator, the simulator comes up and shows a black screen.

I then sit there watch the simulator for 20-30 seconds of black screen before it gets actually to the springboard and launch my app..

using xCode directly to run the project results in the same, but adds a length two step custom Titanium scripts

I am running the latest Titanium SDK and studio (3.2.3) on an iMac running OS X 10.9.3, xCode 5.1.1 and Simulator running iOS 7.1

I tried reseting the simulator, cleaning the build, deleting manually the resources and build folders, nothing.

has anyone seen something like that ? any suggestions ?
