Adding Event listener to the TextField and call the webservice

Hi All,

Someone please help on below requirement. 1. I have a textField entry which should allow only numeric values. (ex: airway bill numbers) 2. I have a button beside the textField widget 3. When I enter any airway bill number in textFiled and fire the button, it should display the results of that respective airway bill (by calling the SOAP, XML service and backend data) in another window.

I have completed point 1. please help me to provide solution or sample code for steps 2 & 3.
