image loaded with img tag in webview is damaged

i want to display image with img html tag in webview. image file is stored under app directory.

randomly, image is displayed damaged with weird coloured lines , randomly it is displayed correctly.

if i test it on iphone, it is displayed always correctly, only ipad is problematic.

someone else had this problem ?
