Hello together. I somehow messed up my dev-environment and need urgent help :-(
I changed my Windows version to Windows 8 and had to re-install Titanium Studio. So i did and installed it I had it before on Windows Vista, that one i installed only 2 weeks ago so i still know most about that setup process. I downloaded the last Version, yesterday, from the Titanium Website "https://my.appcelerator.com/resources". Im not sure what version that gave me. But like mentioned, it was yesterday. 13.12. 2013.
All went trough and i started to test the first project, if all runs. I wanted to create an Alloy Project. To my surprise i saw that no Alloy Templates were there and i know for sure i did not install Alloy extra on the previous Titanium on my previous Windows so i did not know whats wrong.
I googled and read things about manually install Alloy over the command line. So i did. And it downloaded Alloy through github.
I restart my pc and tried again. Now i had an Alloy Template in the "New project" window in Titanium Studio, but still not in the dashboard, like in old Titanium on old windows. Whats more bad though is, when i run the app it gives me an error: "Alloy 1.3.0 requires Titanium SDK 3.2.0 or higher".
So now i seem do have Alloy 1.3.0 that requires SDK 3.2.0. To my surprise i saw that my newly installed Studio dont has that. But then i read of a Titanium Studio 3.2.0 BETA. One should think that ths one has SDK 3.20 in it. But thats not the case.... Yes i installed that Beta now.
So what i have now: Titanium Studio 3.2.0 with SDK 3.1.3 GA and Alloy 1.3.0.
What can i do to NOT spend more days in searching forums and finally run an Alloy project? I would be glad if someone can help please...Btw, other projects are build fine (non alloy).
